Azerbaijan is ready to retaliate “Iskander”
Baku/06.10.20/Turan: On October 6, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held a special service meeting.
During the meeting, the current situation in the counter-offensive operation was analyzed and instructions were given to continue the planned, purposeful, and consistent destruction of the enemy forces.
The Minister of Defense instructed the troops to take vital important and necessary activities in the liberated territories.
The Minister of Defense said that if the enemy uses Iskander operational-tactical missile systems, adequate retaliatory actions would be taken. The Minister ordered the Azerbaijan Army to plan actions to deliver strikes at the military-strategic infrastructure on enemy territory using the weapons with great destructive power.
The Russian Iskander-E missile system is the most powerful weapon of the Armenian side, which it has repeatedly threatened to use.

Fazil Gasimov, an economist who has been on hunger strike for 113 days while in prison, has been suffering from 39 degrees body temperature since yesterday, his relatives told Turan on Friday following their visit to him at the medical facility of the penitentiary service. "Fazil could fall into a coma at any moment. He is just skin and bones. His immune system has weakened. Since yesterday, his temperature has not dropped below 39 degrees," said a family member.
