Azerbaijan sent another humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Baku/21.03.23/Turan: Azerbaijan sent another humanitarian aid to Ukraine on March 20.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky wrote about this on his Facebook account.
"On the eve of the beautiful Novruz holiday, the next batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Ukraine - the delivery of 13 tons of medicines and medical supplies with a total value of 360 thousand US dollars - is very symbolic. We are deeply grateful to our Azerbaijani friends for showing solidarity with the people of Ukraine who heroically resisted the armed aggression of Russia", Ambassador Kanevsky noted.
According to official information, the total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan in connection with the crisis in Ukraine is more than 30 million manats.
In addition, a total of 90 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost their family members were brought to Azerbaijan for medical and social-psychological rehabilitation. School No. 12 named after Zarifa Aliyeva, which was destroyed as a result of military operations in the city of Irpen, has been fully restored.
The Ukrainian representative office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR Energy Ukraine) provides emergency medical aid and fire engines with free fuel as a humanitarian aid. -03-
