Azerbaijan to agree with UNESCO sending mission to liberated territories - Bayramov
Baku/11.11.21/Turan: "Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with UNESCO in the process of post-conflict reconstruction, and is presently conducting an active dialogue to send a technical mission to the liberated territories," he said. This was stated by Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov, speaking at the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris on November 10.
According to him, "a number of complex technical, legal and political issues have already been agreed to ensure the effectiveness and independence of the mission.
"Azerbaijan has repeatedly warned UNESCO about these gross violations by Armenia, raising the question of sending a technical mission to the occupied territories. However, Armenia has prevented this which is reflected in the UNESCO report of 2005," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs quotes the Minister.
He added that Armenia declines to provide maps of the mined territories, thus hindering the return of refugees to the liberated territories. -02D-
