Baku/18.03.22/Turan: An event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Azerbaijan and the UN is being held in Shusha on Friday. Its participants went from Baku to Fuzuli by plane and then by bus along the new "Victory Road". The meeting is attended by the UN Resident Coordinator and the heads of various UN agencies operating in Azerbaijan, the official statement says.
From the Azerbaijani side, there are Assistant to the Head of State for International Affairs Hikmet Hajiyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The topic of discussions in Shusha will be the issues of the post-conflict period in Karabakh, the restoration of the liberated territories, the partnership between Azerbaijan and the UN within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. -02D-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
