Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accuses Armenia of violating truce
Baku/13.09.22/Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accused Armenia of new shelling on the border of the two countries, contrary to the announced ceasefire.
Thus, on September 13, at 16.55, units of the Armenian armed forces, despite the declared ceasefire, fired on the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the village of Ahmadli in the Lachin region using artillery mounts.
The units of the Azerbaijani army took retaliatory measures, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a press release.
“Despite the announcement of a ceasefire from 09.00, the truce is being intensively violated by Armenia along the border with the use of artillery and other heavy weapons,” the report concludes.—06B-

The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
