Azerbaijani military will ensure safety of civilian aircrafts due to aeronautical interference created by Armenians
Baku/29.07.23/Turan: Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov held a service meeting with participation of the command staff of the Azerbaijani army on July 29, the ADM's press service reported.
The meeting analysed the current operational situation on the conditional Azerbaijani-Armenian border and in the Karabakh economic region, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed.
Touching upon the cases of application of radio jamming by Armenian armed formations against GPS satellite navigation systems of passenger aircrafts of local and foreign airlines flying with the use of airspace of our country, the Minister gave relevant instructions to ensure the safety of aircrafts.
In conclusion, Hasanov stressed the importance of the meetings held within the framework of the 16th International Defence Industry Exhibition IDEF-23 in Istanbul, and gave specific instructions for the personnel to master the adopted weapons and combat equipment, study the fire capabilities of the Su-25 ML attack aircraft (upgraded Lachin) and its effective use in carrying out combat missions. -06В-
