Azerbaijani President meets with Federal Chancellor and Austrian President
Baku / 30.03.19 / Turan: On March 29, during a working visit to Austria, President of Azerbaijan IlhamAliyev met with Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Sebastian Kurtz. He informed the Federal Chancellor about the meeting held in Vienna with the Prime Minister of Armenia, and expressed gratitude to the Austrian side for organizing these talks.
Noting the presence of high-level political ties between Azerbaijan and Austria, Aliyev stressed that there is a great potential for expanding cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, in the field of information technology, agriculture, transport and other areas.During the conversation, according to the website of the head of state, the successful activities of Austrian companies in Azerbaijan were noted. They also talked about the relations of Azerbaijan with the European Union and the support of Vienna for these relations.
Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz gratefully accepted Aliyev"s invitation to make an official visit to Azerbaijan.
Aliyev also met with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen. -06d-
