Azerbaijan's enemy Zatulin becomes persona non grata in Armenia
Baku/25.10.22/Turan: The Armenian authorities have declared the Russian deputy Konstantin Zatulin an undesirable person. This was reported on October 25 by the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak", which at one time was headed by current Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The newspaper's report says that in his public interviews Zatulin repeatedly accused the Armenian government of defeat in the Second Karabakh War.
"Moreover, invading the internal political life of Armenia, Zatulin repeatedly voiced that Nikol Pashinyan should leave. Zatulin even managed to accuse the Armenian authorities of driving a wedge into the Armenian-Russian relations.
During his last visit to Armenia, Zatulin accused Pashinyan of providing Azerbaijan with a corridor through the sovereign territory of Armenia.
It has to be kept in mind that Zatulin is a personal friend of Robert Kocharyan and an ardent enemy of Azerbaijan and Turkey. It was Zatulin who initiated the adoption by the Russian State Duma of a document recognizing the "Armenian Genocide in 1915."
He also initiated the creation of the Lazarev Club, uniting supporters of Armenia from among the Russian political elite. -02D-
