Baku and Islamabad are discussing the purchase of JF-17 Thunder fighters for the Azerbaijani air forces.
Baku/03.11.21/Turan: Azerbaijan is interested in buying Pakistani JF-17 Thunder fighters for the country's air forces.
"The purchase of JF-17 Thunder aircraft from Pakistan is a key issue on our agenda," the military attache of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan Mehman Novruzov said, according to the Pakistani edition of Dunya News,
Novruzov stressed that the Azerbaijani air forces are making serious efforts to modernize its air forces, especially fighter jets. Note that joint work with Pakistan is being carried out in this direction, Novruzov added.
It should be added that the JF Thunder is a fighter-bomber of joint Chinese-Pakistani development. –06D-
