Central Election Commission Announces Turnout Data, New Azerbaijan Party Announces Its Victory
Baku / 10.02.20 / Turan: Five and a half hours after the closure of polling stations, the Central Election Commission announced the final turnout in the parliamentary elections. 47.81 percent of voters from the list participated in the vote.
Immediately after this, the executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, Ali Ahmedov, announced the victory of this organization.
“The extraordinary parliamentary elections are over. The exit poll results show that our party is winning,” Ahmedov wrote on his Facebook page.
He congratulated the members of the party “on yet another victory for New Azerbaijan.”
“We are grateful to our party and its candidates, as well as to all our voters who voted for the policy of our President,” Ahmedov said. -0-
