Commandos of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia will hold joint exercises
Baku/28.09.22/Turan: On September 28, the Commander of the Georgian Defense Forces Giorgi Matiashvili received the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Kerim Veliyev, who is in Georgia with an official visit.
They discussed the issues of ensuring the security of regional economic projects, prospects for bilateral military cooperation, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
The importance of holding joint events in a bilateral and trilateral format with the participation of Turkey, as well as within the framework of NATO, was noted.
The preparations for the forthcoming joint exercises of Commandos units of the three countries - "Caucasian Eagle-2022" - were touched upon.
The issues of organizing joint exercises "Caucasian Eagle-2023" and command and staff exercises "Eternity-2023" were also discussed. --06B--
