Construction of the road to Shusha is coming to end
Baku/07.09.21/Turan: At the end of September, the construction of the "Victory Road" from Fizuli to the city of Shusha will be completed, press secretary of the State Agency for Highways Anar Najafli told reporters on September 7.
According to him, the asphalting of the 101-km-long road has been completed and now work is underway to apply markings and install road signs. This road will connect Shusha with the rest of Azerbaijan.
The other two roads are currently unavailable. One, through Agdam, is partially under the control of Armenian separatists. The second road, through Lachin, is controlled by Russian peacekeepers and is used by the Armenians of Karabakh.
The opening of the Fizuli-Shusha Road will start the return of the population to the city and accelerate the work on the complete restoration of the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. -02D-
