Crimean Tatar Leader Deputy Chairman of PABSEC
Kiev / 06/22/18 / Turan: The head of the Mejlis (Council) of the Crimean Tatar People, People's Deputy of Ukraine Refat Chubarov was elected Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). Refat Chubarov reported this on his Facebook page.
The decision to elect Chubarov was made at the 51st meeting of the PABSEC General Assembly in Tirana. Refat Chubarov also heads the Ukrainian delegation to the PABSEC.
It should be noted that in Russia Chubarov has been put on the wanted list on charges of extremism for refusing to recognize as legitimate the annexation of the Crimea by Russia in 2014. -02D-

Independent journalist Khanum Mustafayeva was unable to leave Azerbaijan on January 11. At the Baku airport, she was told that the ban was imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, the reasons for restricting the journalist's rights were not explained to her.
