Did Ded Hasan arm PKK through Baku?
Turkish media are actively discussing the murder of crime boss Aslan Usoyana, known in criminal circles as "Ded (Grandpa) Hassan".
The incident in the center of Moscow has caused great interest of the press in connection with the Kurdish origin of the killed, as well as information about the involvement of Usoyan in selling arms to the terrorist organization Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Accordign to “Akşam” (16.01), Usoyan, the "sniper" attack on which was the result of a bloody settling of accounts in the criminal world, played a crucial role in ensuring the flow of arms for the PKK, from Russia.
Without naming the source of the information, Yeni Safak (17.01) draws attention to the existence of personal relationships of Usoyan with the leaders of the PKK, particularly with Abdullah Ocalan. It is noted that during his stay in Moscow, Ocalan stayed at the house of Yezidi Kurds “Ded Hasan.” The publication provides a statement of the reporter of Russian “Novaya Gazeta” ,Sergei Kanev, during the first attempt on Usoyan in 2010 for the portal www.haberrus.com, in which, referring to the Russian Interior Ministry official, was noted that arms supplies to the PKK was provided by Aslan Usoyan and Zachary Kalashov on nicknamed "Shakro."
Quoting information of the agency SV Press, Milliyet (17.01) added that Usoyan called himself "the chief patron of the Kurds." It is reported that in 2008, there was a meeting Usoyan and some Kurd-man, nicknamed "Bilo" in Baku , during which they discussed plans to deploy in Russia some of the Kurds living in Turkey.
Reporter of Türkiye (17.01) has come to the conclusion that the murder of criminal authority in Russia, and the presence or absence of his relations with the PKK poses new questions and largely discourages in the light of worsening of terrorism and the Kurdish problem in Turkey. -02D-
