Baku /24.10.19 / Turan: On October 24, a two-day meeting of foreign ministers of the countries participating in the Non-Aligned Movement ended in Baku.
Summing up the discussions, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov noted that the discussions held showed that the Non-Aligned Movement plays an important role in strengthening international peace and security.
“The comprehensive documents that we have agreed include several important points. Diversity is more important today than ever, and we must protect it. ”
“The Non-Aligned Movement, being the second largest international political organization after the UN, is one of the driving forces of multilateral cooperation.
We are proud to accept the leadership of this respected movement and contribute to its future successes.
We hope that this Summit and our chair with your support will strengthen the role of the Movement in the system of international relations. In addition, we believe that our chairmanship will help create the basis for cooperation with non-members of the Non-Aligned Movement,” Mammadyarov said.
The summit of the heads of state will be held in Baku on October 25-26. —06D—
