Energy, transport, military industry are important elements of cooperation between Baku and Belgrade
Baku/21.12.22/Turan: Energy and transport communications are a significant part of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia. In the last period, the energy sector has acquired particular importance, because Azerbaijan supplies oil and gas to Europe, and from next year it will supply electricity to Serbia, President Ilham Aliyev said on December 21 at the end of negotiations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
He also recalled that a corresponding agreement on the supply of electricity from Azerbaijan to Europe was signed a few days ago. "On all these issues, we will cooperate in a multilateral and bilateral format," Aliyev said.
In turn, President Vučić thanked Ilham Aliyev for the warm welcome and said that Serbia was sincerely pleased with Azerbaijan's progress. According to him, during the current visit, the Serbian delegation is holding a series of important negotiations in the field of cooperation between the military industry and technologies. He also said that the delegation held detailed negotiations with the Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev. ----02D----
