Erdogan invites I.Aliyev to the summit on Jerusalem
Baku/09.12.17: Turan: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on December 9 and invited him to an emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the Jerusalem issue. The Azerbaijani President reports that Aliyev accepted the invitation to the summit, which will be held in Istanbul. The heads of state expressed a common opinion that they will continue to defend the interests of the Islamic world. Aliyev expressed gratitude to Erdogan for his mission to "support the cause of Islamic solidarity." The time of the summit is not reported. -16D-
