A group of civil society activists of Azerbaijan established "Political Club 125."
The Group intends to participate actively in the political life of the country and, in particular, in the parliamentary elections. The number 125 refers to the number of electoral districts.
The constituent meeting adopted a Declaration and approved by the position of the club, as well as the elected leadership. The head of the structure was elected by secret ballot a journalist Ilhamia Rzayeva.
Deputy Chairman have been elected Anar Gasymly, military expert Uzeir Jafarov, lawyers and Khalisa Shahverdi and Gunel Safarova.
The Declaration of the "Political Club 125" states that the structure is designed to strengthen the independence of Azerbaijan, promote democratization, human rights, holding transparent elections, and fighting corruption. The structure also intends to contribute to the European integration of Azerbaijan. –06D—

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
