Baku/18.02.21/Turan: On Thursday, the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan presented a new website: eu4Azerbaijan.eu, which reflects the projects implemented by the EU in Azerbaijan.

At the presentation in the format of a video conference, the head of the representative office, Kestutis Jankauskas, noted that more than 120 completed projects were presented on the site.

He noted that cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan is strategic in nature and covers a wide range, including energy cooperation, education, agriculture, and the creation of family farms in the regions.

In addition, the ambassador emphasized the role of the EU in the creation of ASAN-Service, as well as in the creation of digital services to eliminate corruption.

“We are convinced that working together we are becoming stronger,” said Jankauskas.

Eleni Papoutzi, spokeswoman for the European Commission's Director-General, noted that this site provides an opportunity to disseminate success stories and provides information on cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan.

In turn, the project manager Silvia Grant believes that the information published on the site demonstrates the involvement of ordinary people in EU projects and encourages activity in such projects.

The EU Delegation to Azerbaijan has also announced a competition for journalists on the topics of cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan.
