Baku / 09/20/17 / Turan: Representatives of the EU Committee on Politics and Security will visit Azerbaijan in early October. The delegation will include representatives from 28 EU member states. It is planned that the EU delegation will arrive in Baku on October 3, the newly appointed head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas, told journalists.
It should be noted that currently Azerbaijan and the EU are working on a draft new partnership agreement. -06D-

Shamshad Aga, editor of the "Argument.az" website, has been found guilty in the Meydan TV case of smuggling (Article 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two months and one day in detention. The decision was made on February 6 by the Khatai District Court of Baku, as reported by Turan, citing his lawyer, Shahla Humbatova.
