Leaders of Azerbaijan�s Religious Confessions Invited to Brussels
Baku / 20.09.17 / Turan: The leaders of seven religious confessions of Azerbaijan will visit Brussels on September 25-28, the head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas, told journalists. According to him, such a mission of religious figures of Azerbaijan to Brussels has been organized by the EU for the first time.
During the visit, the religious leaders will visit the EU foreign policy service, the European Parliament, as well as the NATO headquarters.
Jankauskas emphasized the traditions of religious tolerance in Azerbaijan.
The EU, for its part, intends to contribute to the preservation and development of tolerance traditions. To this end, it is planned to organize the Imagine festival of tolerance in Baku in October. --- 06d--
