Foreign Minister said goodbye to the ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia
Baku / 13.04.18 / Turan: Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received on the eve of Czech Ambassador, Vitezlav Pivonka, and Saudi Ambassador, Musadi bin Ibrahim Suleimi, in connection with the completion of their diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan. The Foreign Ministry"s press service reported that the minister thanked the ambassadors for fruitful work and wished them success in their further work.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, the sides noted a sharp increase in the interest of Saudi tourists to Azerbaijan, the number of which in Azerbaijan in 2017 was 35000 people.
Mamedyarov also thanked Saudi Arabia for refusing to cooperate with Armenia because of Yerevan's aggression against Baku and the occupation of Azerbaijani lands. -02D-

On January 15, the Yasamal District Court rejected the motion to change the detention measure for Azer Gasymly, the director of the Institute of Political Management, his lawyer, Agyl Laidj, to Turan. "Azer Gasymly stated during the trial that the charges against him were fabricated and related to his socio-political activities," the lawyer said. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision.
