Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Germany discussed situation in region
Baku/08.09.23/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with the German Foreign Minister today Annalena Burbok. During the conversation, the crrent situation in the region was discussed, as well as the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the press service of Azerbaijan reports.
Bayramov informed his colleague in detail about the current situation in the region, noting that the allegations about the "tense humanitarian situation" and "blockade" spread by Armenia are groundless.
It was emphasized that the refusal of Armenia and the illegal regime in Karabakh from proposals to organize the synchronous use of the Aghdam-Khankendi road and the road through Lachyn proves once again that the claims about the "humanitarian crisis" are false.
Armenia's provocative actions, including the non-withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the territories of Azerbaijan, hinder efforts to establish peace and are a source of threats, Bayramov said.
An exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest. -06B-
