Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Turkmenistan discussed the issue of gas transportation to Europe
Baku/23.02.21/Turan: The trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan in 2020 amounted to about $ 2 billion, stated the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov at a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.
The head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan noted that during the meeting, issues of trade and economic cooperation were also touched on.
“We can implement joint projects in the field of energy, transport, high technologies and other areas. Turkmenistan, for its part, will prepare a plan and relevant programs and offer them to Turkish friends,” Meredov said.
In turn, Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara is ready to do everything in its power to start delivering Turkmen gas to Turkey and further to Europe. -02D-
