Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey
Baku/23.02.21/Turan: The situation in the region and the agenda of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations were discussed on February 23 in Ankara at a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of two states - Ceyhun Bayramov and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
The ministers noted the formation of new realities in the region after the 44-day Karabakh war, and also discussed the implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation of November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
“At the meeting, it was also emphasized that fraternal Turkey is ready to participate in the process of restoring the liberated territories of Azerbaijan,” the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
It was noted that the adoption at the end of the regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation on February 19 of this year of the action plan of 53 new points covering all areas is an indicator of a high level of development of bilateral relations.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting. — 05D06-
