Founding Congress of ReAl Party Held
Baku / 05.08.20 / Turan: The founding congress of the Republican Alternative (ReAl) party was held online the day before.
A member of the Political Council Natig Jafarli told Turan that 108 delegates were elected to the congress, of which 98 participated in the forum. Ten delegates were unable to connect due to Internet problems.
“At the beginning of the congress, the charter, program documents, logo, banner and seal of the organization were approved. In conclusion, the Political Committee of 6 people was elected,” Jafarli said. It includes Ilgar Mammadov, Erkin Gadirli, Rasul Jafarov, Natig Jafarli, Zaur Gurbanli and Mahmud Mahmudov.
The congress empowered the Political Committee to accept new members from among the party members and prominent persons.
Jafarli noted that the chairman of the party will be elected by the Political Committee at its first meeting, which is expected this week.
In addition, the Control and Auditing Commission of five people was formed. Its composition will be updated every three months in alphabetical order from the number of delegates.— 05D06-

The International Committee of Concerned Scholars (ICS) has appealed to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, requesting his assistance in securing the release of the arrested researcher, Igbal Abilov.
