French Foreign Ministry calls on Baku and Yerevan to de-escalate
Baku/17.06.23/Turan: France regrets the armed incidents over the past 48 hours in several places on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the shelling of civilians in Yeraskh on the territory of Armenia. This is stated in the comments of the French Foreign Ministry on June 16.
Paris calls for restraint, de-escalation and protection of the civilian population, and also "reaffirms its support for the full implementation of the International Court of Justice ruling of February 22, 2023 on the restoration of traffic in the corridor."
France is fully mobilized to restore peace for the benefit of the entire population of the region, the commentary says.- 0-
