Ganjaliyev checked the mood of Armenians in Karabakh
Baku/10.04.21/Turan: The chair of the Community of Azerbaijanis of Nagorno-Karabakh, Tural Ganjaliyev posted a message about the search of premises in Khankendi for the Community. The message caused a storm of emotions and reasoning among Azerbaijanis and Armenians. On the other side, the Armenians responded with mostly offensive remarks, one of the leaders of the separatists, Balayan, published a political anti-Azerbaijani statement in the press.
People in Azerbaijan began to discuss conspiracy theories about the imminent return of Khankendi to the power of Baku, and one of the politicians even announced the start of the anti-terrorist operation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in May this year.
In the Community of Karabakh Azerbaijanis, Ahmed Mahmudov, responsible for media and communications, answered Turan's questions.
"The purely personal Facebook status of Tural Ganjaliyev about his search for premises for an office for the Azerbaijani Community was a test of the reaction of the Armenian-Karabakh public to the principled intention of returning Azerbaijanis to Karabakh. Reactions were sharply negative," Mahmudov said.
In addition to appeals in social networks, the leadership of the Community makes statements at conferences, participates in other online and face-to-face discussions. Information about the mood of the Armenians is useful for the deputy of the Milli Mejlis from Nagorno-Karabakh Tural Ganjaliyev for his work.
"Regardless of the Armenian desires, in the near future the Azerbaijanis will return to all the settlements of Karabakh and the office of the Community of Azerbaijanis will be in Khankendi. We will live peacefully with the Armenians, excluding those who were engaged in terror and opposed the Azerbaijani Constitution," Mahmudov said.
Answering the question about the destruction of five-storey buildings in Shusha after the liberation of the city from the occupation, the representative of the Community said that the old "Khrushchevka" buildings in Shusha, built in Soviet Azerbaijan by our workers and engineers, were being demolished. During the living of Armenians in these apartments, the houses were not repaired, fell into disrepair, and are dangerous for people.
"President I. Aliyev twice visited Shusha. On his last visit he gave instructions to bring the appearance of the city to a normal state, corresponding to its historical status." “Khrushchevka” buildings "were not built by Armenians, they are not objects of cultural, historical, architectural heritage and therefore Armenians' statements on this about untenable", said the representative of the organization. Old Soviet buildings unfit for habitation are also being demolished in Baku, he added.
A. Mahmudov recalled that the Azerbaijanis built Shusha by the order of Khan Panahali in 1750. The first inhabitants of the city were 162 Azerbaijani families. The real historical heritage of the city was destroyed by the Armenians; this fact is confirmed by the shelling of the city with “Iskander” missiles. — 0—
