"Gazprom" to supply one billion cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan
Baku/18.11.22/Turan: Since November 15, "Gazprom" has begun supplying Russian gas to Azerbaijan under a new sales contract since November 15. “The document was signed between "Gazprom Export" LLC and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Deliveries will be made through March 2023. The volume of deliveries is up to 1 billion cubic meters of gas,” the Russian company said in a November 18 statement.
In 2021, Azerbaijan and Russia agreed to cooperate in the field of seasonal exchange of natural gas. The agreement provides for the supply of gas from Azerbaijan to Russia in the summer season and similar volumes of gas from Russia to Azerbaijan in the winter season. ----06D----
