Germany to give Ukraine 500 Stinger missiles and 1,000 anti-tank missiles
Baku/26.02.22/Turan: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that 500 Stinger portable missile systems and 1,000 anti-tank missiles would be sent to Ukraine. This is done to support Ukraine from Russian aggression.
“Our duty is to support Ukraine in defense against Putin’s army with all our might. That is why we are sending 1,000 anti-tank guns and 500 Stinger missiles to our friends in Ukraine,” Scholz tweeted.
Germany also allowed the Netherlands and Estonia to transfer German-made weapons to Ukraine, the Bild newspaper reported. Thus, the Netherlands will supply Ukraine with 400 anti-tank systems.-0-
