Bahruz Hasanli, one of the guards of PFPA leader, Ali Kerimli, was arrested by the police today in Surakhani district. According to the PPFA, the police arrested him on charges that he hit a man by his car. Turan failed to get comments in the police office. It is unknown whether he has been accused.

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. He raised a sign above his head that read: "Azerbaijani authorities are shooting dogs on the streets!"
