Hasanov and Galant emphasized importance of strengthening strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Israel

Baku/13.07.23/Turan: Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan and Israel - Zakir Hasanov and Yoav Galant stressed the importance of strengthening strategic relations between the two countries.

The press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that before the meeting of the two Ministers, the Israeli delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs, where they laid flowers on the graves of those who fell in defense of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including the National Hero of Azerbaijan, ethnic Jew Albert Agarunov.

Welcoming the guest, Hasanov noted that the high level of partnership between Azerbaijan and Israel plays an important role not only in the development of the two states, but also in ensuring security in the entire region.

Expressing satisfaction with his first visit to Azerbaijan as Minister of Defense of the State of Israel and a sincere meeting, Galant emphasized that "Azerbaijani-Israeli relations are based on friendship and mutual trust."

The importance of mutual visits from the standpoint of further expansion of military cooperation was emphasized at the meeting.

Also, the sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening strategic relations and expanding security ties.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the military, military-technical fields and other topics of mutual interest.-06B-
