I. Aliyev's order in connection with the fire at the shopping center "Diqlas"
Baku/28.03.19/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of a commission in connection with a fire in the shopping center "Diqlas". It provides for the formation of a commission to investigate the causes and eliminate the consequences of a fire. The commission is instructed to regularly inform the Cabinet of Ministers, and the government - the president himself.
Meanwhile, according to the press service of the Prosecutor General"s Office, an operational investigation team has been set up to investigate a criminal case involving a fire in a shopping center with the participation of the Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Taxes.
In the framework of the criminal case initiated under Article 225.2 (violation of fire safety regulations, entailing grave consequences) and 308.2 (abuse of official duties entailing grave consequences).
Immediate investigative and operational measures are being taken to investigate the causes of the fire, to establish the damage caused to entrepreneurs, and to identify the perpetrators.
