I.Aliyev Receives OSCE MG Co-Chairs
Baku/07.10.17/Turan: On October 7, the head of state Ilham Aliyev received the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Stefan Visconti, Igor Popov, Andrew Schaefer and the special representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andjei Kasprzyk. The co-chairs arrived in Baku from Yerevan, where they held meetings with the leadership of Armenia. In addition, the new American co-chairman Shafer visited Karabakh and met with the leader of the Karabakh separatists Bako Sahakyan.
According to media reports, the main topic of these talks was the possibility of organizing a meeting between the President of Azerbaijan and Armenia. Apparently, this topic will also be at the center of attention of the talks of the co-chairs with the leadership of Azerbaijan. -02D-
