Baku/20.10.21/Turan: On October 20, the head of state and his wife arrived in the Zangilan region.
They visited the village of Agaly, where he got acquainted with the implementation of the Smart Village project. Then he visited the construction of the Zangelan airport, a complex of military units of the State Border Service, he message on the president's website.
Aliyev also took part in laying the foundation of the 110 kilowatt digital substation of Azerishig LLC.
Then Ilham Aliyev met with people from the Zangilan region.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
