Ilham Aliyev arrested for 15 days, and Siyavush Novruzov was reprimanded
Baku / 22.08.20 / Turan: One of the most disliked figures in power, the deputy chairman of the ruling party Siyavush Novruzov, was reprimanded for a gross violation of quarantine - participation in a wedding, and for justifying his actions in a cheeky manner, reported the press service of the New Azerbaijan Party.
The organizer of the wedding, Ilham Aliyev, the son-in-law of the former head of the presidential administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, was arrested today by the decision of the Absheron court for 15 days.
Thus, the prank of Ramiz Mehdiyev, who arranged a magnificent wedding for his grandson in the villa on August 18 during the quarantine period, did not go unnoticed. However, Ramiz Mehdiyev himself, escaped the blow, putting forward his son-in-law. Although there are such tough sanctions against the participants in the celebration, they say that Mehdiyev will also be punished.
Thus, the Absheron District Court found Ilham Aliyev guilty of violating the quarantine regime (Article 211 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
Before his marriage to Ramiz Mehdiyev's daughter, Ilham Aliyev was nothing of himself. By getting married, he gained access to business. Thus, a number of residential complexes and commercial facilities in the capital belong to him. Among the most famous is the fashionable Izmir complex. Apparently, all this seemed to Ilham Aliyev not enough, and under the patronage of Ramiz Mehdiyev, he was taken to the presidential administration in the department of territorial and organizational issues.
People who worked with him testify, apart from rudeness and laziness, he did not stand out in anything. However, this did not prevent Ilham Aliyev from being elected a member of parliament from the Khachmaz region. -02D-
