Ilham Aliyev called for the preservation of the purity of the Azerbaijani language
Baku / 05.01.21 / Turan: “Some expressions that have entered recently violate the purity of our language, which is very rich,” President Ilham Aliyev said today at a meeting in the format of a videoconference with the Minister of Culture Anar Kerimov.
Aliyev noted that the Ministry of Culture, together with other structures - the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences must carry out very serious work to protect the Azerbaijani language. It is necessary to suppress the violation of the purity of the language on television and the press.
“We have guarded our language for centuries and must continue to do so. Today the Azerbaijani language is the native language for 50 million people in the world,” Aliyev emphasized.-03D06-

Previously, she headed the Department of Music History and Theory at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Dadashzade is a member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
