The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has demanded that the Interior Ministry should determine struggle against the darkening glasses of cars, including cars of officials.
At a meeting on the development of regions, Aliyev said that a few years ago he gave instructions to remove such films from cars.
"I am the President, but my car does not have films. But officials of the third or fourth level have cars closed with films. From whom are they hiding? Maybe they are afraid that someone will see them? What, will they melt, if people see them?" said Aliyev.
He said that prior to the meeting, he asked and was informed that only last year the Ministry of Interior removed 24 thousand films.
"These 24 thousand people have no ears or something? They do not hear what I'm saying? This may not be a big issue, but it is an indicator. What a differentiation in the society! Why should they differ from any other in position or money? They should differ in good deeds and intelligence, and contribute to the development of the country, rather than differ from others in films or expensive things," said Aliyev.
Referring to Interior Minister Usubov, the President said that if he ever hears that someone's car has a film, this car should be confiscated and, if necessary, the laws should be amended in this way. -06B-

On August 30, at approximately 22:55, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant in Metsamor was disconnected from the country's power grid, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The shutdown was caused by a lightning strike, which triggered the plant's safety systems to switch the station to a safe shutdown mode. Currently, the plant's staff is working on restarting the facility.
