Ilham Aliyev: children of officers behave insolently

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev admitted that the children of high-ranking officials are insolent, insulting people and not respecting the high moral values ??in society. Speaking at a meeting dedicated to the implementation of the program of socio-economic development for 2009-2013, Aliyev said that he will continue to be adamant in this regard, and will dismiss officials whose children behave this way.

"The children of officers behave arrogantly, offend people, and cannot behave. Who gave them that status? Those people to whom they hope were appointed to their positions by me. I will dismiss them as it deems necessary. If I ever find out that someone's family member committed hooliganism and does not know how to behave, then that person will be arrested and his father will be dismissed," strictly warned the head of Azerbaijan.

The head of state did not mention specific names. However, the local media reported that in an accident, which caused the recent riots in the Ismayilli district the locals were also insulted by the son of the Labor Minister Fizuli Alekperov, Vugar Alekperov.

Aliyev also said that business people must not be forced to work on the improvement in areas.

"Each area has its own budget. From the Reserve Fund of the President funds are regularly allocated. There is no need to attract businesses to the cases. Who wants to help, can do this. But in some cases they are forced to do so.

Entrepreneurs spend big money, but then are not given the money back. That's not right. If anyone thinks that I am not aware of it, it's wrong. Once again I say that let all the heads of executive authorities know that those who torment entrepreneurs will be punished," said Aliyev.

The president did not mention the specific areas, where this occurred, but in the recent protest rallies held in Imishli and Neftchala employers complained about the district officials.

Aliyev also noted the need for a decisive struggle with road hooliganism. -06D -
