Ilham Aliyev chaired a meeting on economic results of the quarter
On April 9 President Ilham Aliyev chaired a meeting of the Cabinet on the economic results of the first quarter of 2016. Ilham Aliyev informed about the situation in the conflict zone and its results. "This clash once again showed that Armenia does not want the world, trying to break the negotiation process," he said. Recalling the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the initiative of the head of France in 2014, Aliyev said that immediately after that Armenia started military exercises in the occupied territories, where the Armenian helicopter was shot down. After that, the talks were suspended for a year, and the meeting of the presidents in December last year was also unsuccessful.
"Azerbaijan is committed to the negotiation process, and hopes that the issue will be solved," Aliyev said and added that the principle of self-determination should not be a violation of the principle of territorial integrity of countries.
