Baku / 15.07.20 / Turan: During the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on June 12, the entire leadership of the country was at work, except for the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“I could not find him, he was not at the workplace,” said President Ilham Aliyev, speaking at a government meeting on Wednesday.
He expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, accusing him of irresponsibility.
He asked the Prime Minister to inform him of his dialogue with Mammadyarov.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov said that Mammadyarov was at home at 3 p.m. “I asked why he was at home, when he had to be in the office and follow the President’s instructions,” the Prime Minister said.
Aliyev further expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Foreign Minister Mammadyarov discussed cooperation with the Armenian side on the fight against coronavirus. “What kind of cooperation with Armenia can we talk about?” Aliyev said. -02B-
