Ilham Aliyev receives Ministers of Transport of Turkey and Minister of Communications of Iran
Baku / 04.12.18 / Turan: On December 4, President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Mehmet Turhan.
During the meeting they discussed the issues of implementation of joint projects and participation of Turkish companies in communication projects in Azerbaijan.
On the same day, Aliyev received the Minister of Communication and Information of Iran, Mohammed Azeri Chakhromi.
They discussed the participation of Iranian companies in the telecommunication exhibition "Bakutel" and the prospects for cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan in regional telecommunication projects.
In particular, the Iranian minister noted good prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of communication technologies in the format of four countries - Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia. -02D-

The next municipal elections in Azerbaijan will take place on January 29, 2025, Mazahir Panahov, the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), said at a meeting of the commission. By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Siyavush Kerimi has been relieved of his duties as rector of the National Conservatory. By another decree from the head of state, Khamila Dadashzade has been appointed as the new rector of the institution. Previously, she headed the Department of Music History and Theory at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Dadashzade is a member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
