Ilham Aliyev Receives Nikolai Patrushev
Baku / 09/03/19 / Turan: The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev in Baku, the press service of the Security Council of the Russian Federation said on Tuesday.
"Nikolai Patrushev met in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev," the Security Council said in a statement.
"The meeting discussed issues of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of security, economic relations, the development of cultural and humanitarian ties, cooperation at the UN, OSCE and other international organizations," the press release notes.
Earlier, the Security Council press service reported that Russian-Azerbaijani consultations of the Security Councils will be held in Baku on September 4. -06D--

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
