Ilham Aliyev travels to Jabrayil and Gubadli
Baku/19.10.22/Turan: On October 19, President Ilham Aliyev traveled to Jabrayil and Gubadli regions, liberated from Armenian occupation during the 44-day war in 2020. During the trip, he took part in the opening ceremony of the 14-kilometer Shukurbeyli-Jabrail section. Aliyev also got acquainted with the project of the "Azerbaijani-Turkish International Forestry Training Center" in the Jabrayil region.
Then he took part in the release ceremony of 18 goitered gazelles in the Jabrayil region as part of the project for the reintroduction of these rare animals.
In addition, he laid the foundation for the Digital Power Grid Control Center and got acquainted with the construction of the international distribution substation "Jabrail", with a power of 330/110 kV.
Aliyev also got acquainted with the projects of the Bergushadchay and Zabukhchay reservoirs in the Gubadli region, laid the foundation for the Gubadli Electric Network Digital Control Center. He was presented with the general plan of the city of Gubadli.
Aliyev also took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Occupation and Victory Museums in Gubadli.
On October 20, with the participation of Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an international airport will be opened in the neighboring Zangilan region. --06B--

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia regarding the mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports traveling for short-term visits. The document was signed by the foreign ministers of both countries, Jeyhun Bayramov and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, on September 27 during a meeting at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the meeting expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations based on mutual respect for each other's legitimate interests.
