Ilham Aliyev's trip to Sheki
Baku/02.12.22/Turan: On December 2, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Sheki region, where he visited a number of administrative and socio-economic facilities. In particular, with the participation of the head of state, the opening of a section of the Garamaryam-Ismayilli-Sheki highway after reconstruction took place.
Then he got acquainted with the enterprise for the production of dried fruits of Green Factory LLC in the village of Orta Zeyzid, Sheki region, as well as with the new administrative building of the Executive Power of Sheki.
In addition, Aliyev got acquainted with the restoration work in the complex of the Sheki Khan Mosque, as well as with the repair and restoration work on the territory of the National Historical and Architectural Reserve "Yukhary Bash". The visit continues. ---06B---

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
