International Court of Justice rejected Armenia's motion against Azerbaijan
Baku/21.10.22/Turan: The International Court of Justice has rejected Yerevan's petition to amend the December 7, 2021 judgment on interim measures in the case filed by Armenia against Azerbaijan due to the September fighting on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
The International Court found that the new circumstances presented by Armenia on September 16 2022 were not enough to change the measures specified in the decision of December 7, 2021, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in its commentary.
At the same time, it is reminded that the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan on September 17 and October 2, 2022 declared that it was investigating the video footage circulating in social networks of allegedly illegal actions of Azerbaijani military. Criminal cases were opened on the confirmed facts and the perpetrators were brought to justice.
However, as noted by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Armenia is not taking any action to comply with its international obligations and prosecute those who have committed numerous war crimes and are responsible for other illegal actions against Azerbaijani soldiers and civilians. -06В-
