Iran’s policy towards Azerbaijan is wrong
Baku/21.10.21/Turan: Turkish President Erdogan does not expect the crisis in relations between Iran and Azerbaijan to enter a hot phase, he told journalists on Thursday after returning from a trip to Africa.
“Iran is conducting military exercises on the border with Azerbaijan, referring to the presence of Israel there. Considering that Turkey has become an active player in the Caucasus, what is the point of Iran's actions and can events turn into a hot crisis?
“Personally, I have no expectation that Iran will target Azerbaijan because of its relationship between Azerbaijan and Israel. Because today the Azerbaijani factor is obvious in Iran. It should be taken into account. It is not so easy. What has been done is wrong and I think the new Iranian administration will not continue this erroneous line, ”Erdogan said, answering the question: what is Tehran counting on trying to put pressure on Baku? -02D-
