Karabakh hosts second stage of talks between representatives of Azerbaijani state agencies and peacekeepers' command
Baku/07.12.22/Turan: On 7 December the Karabakh monitoring group for investigation of illegal exploitation of natural resources in the region continued talks with Russian peacekeepers commanders.
An agreement to continue contacts was reached during the meeting with the peacekeepers' commander, General Volkov, on 3 December.
This morning, employees of the Ministry of Ecology, the State Property Service and AzerGold CJSC traveled again to the peacekeepers' headquarters in Khojaly to meet with Volkov.
Azerbaijani TV reporters informed from the scene that the peacekeepers did not allow them to cover the meeting.
It ought to be noted that the first meeting on December 3 resulted in an agreement on the elaboration of a road map to monitor the facts of illegal exploitation of natural resources in the region.
This refers to the exploitation of natural resources by Armenian companies and the export of finished products from Karabakh to Armenia. All these works are carried out without the consent of the appropriate Azerbaijani state structures. It is noteworthy that all the works of such nature in Azerbaijan are strictly licensed. -02B-
