Kasprzyk informed Armenian Foreign Minister on his meeting with Mamedyarov
Baku / 18.05.18 / Turan: On May 17, Armenian Foreign Minister, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, received Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.
Kasprzyk briefed the Foreign Minister of Armenia on the results of the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in Paris, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
Minister Mnatsakanyan reaffirmed Armenia's commitment exclusively to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the format of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group, noting the importance in this context of the implementation of the agreements reached earlier. The interlocutors touched upon the further work program of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
On the same day Kasprzyk met with Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan.
According to the message. Press Service of the Defense Ministry, during the meeting David Tonoyan informed Kasprzyk about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and on the contact line in Karabakh, as well as the frequency and nature of violations of the ceasefire.
In particular, David Tonoyan expressed concern over the activation of Azerbaijani forces in recent days, as a result of which a soldier of the Defense Army Shamkhal Petrosyan received a gunshot wound. He noted the importance of strict adherence to the ceasefire regime. -02D-
