Lachin road - day 25th. Vardanian says he is not afraid of anything
Baku/06.01.23/Turan: De facto leader of the Karabakh separatists, "state minister" Ruben Vardanian says that he does not accept Baku's demand to recognise Azerbaijan's sovereignty over Karabakh.
In his Christmas address to Karabakh Armenians today, he said: "No blockade, no pressure, no threat can break the spirit, the will and the determination of the people of Artsakh to live in their native land.
There have been much more difficult periods in our history. Those who wanted to conquer our homeland have come and gone, while we have continued to live in our holy land for millennia and will continue to do so."
As for the situation on the Lachin road, where the action of civil activists of Azerbaijan continues for the 25th day, there have been no particular changes. During the day several trucks of the Russian peacekeepers passed in both directions without any problems.
Azerbaijani activists continue to control the road passage, demanding that representatives of official Baku be allowed to the mines in the former Mardakert region to monitor the ecological situation. -02D-
